Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential​.​​​​​​

Pay: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour depending on qualification *plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.
Location: hdc Nursery Dartmouth, Milton Lane, Dartmouth, Devon, TQ6 9HW

Our Dartmouth nursery is located just off the A379 adjacent to Dartmouth Academy School. Parking is available within the school grounds.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
