At Stowmarket Nursery, we’re looking for a Housekeeper with high standards and a proactive approach to join our team. Your role will be essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our children to play, learn, and grow!

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience working in a cleaning role, and have good knowledge and understanding of COSHH guidelines.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours - Monday to Friday

What Your Role Involves

As a Housekeeper in our nursery, you’ll:

• Ensure the nursery environment is spotless, hygienic, and safe for children and staff.
• Support in the kitchen as needed. 
• Use your time management skills to prioritise tasks and keep each area of the nursery sparkling.
• Take pride in creating a clean and tidy space where children can thrive.

About our Nursery 

Our Stowmarket Nursery is conveniently located in the centre of Stowmarket within Union Street West car park, just off Gipping Way Road, a community nursery where our children flourish. Stowmarket children start their journey here at our Stowmarket Day Nursery and then progress to our pre-school, which is on the same site. Our setting is perfectly sized so that children are in small groups and can develop at their own pace. The nursery has two rooms with an inside garden and plenty of opportunity to play outside and explore the world around them in the town on our trips out.
